¡Arrepentíos! - 8 abril 2019
Well General Conference was really good. We watched all the sessions in the church, so it was all in spanish. We watched the priesthood session too, so we didn`t get home until a little past 11. Although with our campo schedule we normally don´t get home until like 10:30, so there wasn´t much difference. The talks were really good. In Priesthood session, we got called to repentance. Quite literally haha. Does D. Todd Christofferson speak spanish? Because I´m 99% sure that the translation of his talk in spanish was a recording of him. It was totally his voice, but the other elders don´t believe me. Also, the internet stopped working during Elder Holland´s talk, so we weren´t able to hear it.
Unfortunately, we didn´t get any investigators to come to conference with us. We went and looked for people before every session, but we didn´t end up getting anyone. It was kinda rough. Malvina is kinda struggling because her husband doesn´t support her and I think they´ve had some arguments. She´s also really busy all the time, especially now that she´s started to take classes at night so she can finish school.
This week we found a young couple that are really cool. We taught the Restoration and they understood it really well and they´ve been reading in the book of mormon. We just need to get them married. And they usually work pretty late saturday nights, so we´ll have to convince them to come to church as well.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. We had the mission party on tuesday. It was pretty dang sweet. We had Subway sandwiches and ice cream for lunch. And we got to watch Incredibles 2, which was a pretty great movie. I also got to play basketball for the first time since the MTC. Needless to say, I was pretty rusty.
Like always, I´m sure I´m forgetting something, but I guess that´s what Thursday is for.
