Nate's Letter Home - April 29, 2019

29 abril 2019

Well I´m not sure I have much to report since the last time I talked to you. We had yet another rough sunday and didn´t get any investigators to church. Although we did get an inactive family to come to church yesterday, which felt pretty good. Also, we had tacos again with Tania and her family after church so that cheered me up. I don´t know if I´ve told you about Tania before but she is a recent convert and we are trying to get her parents married so they can get baptized. It´s a work in progress, but they are a really cool family.

We´re teaching this one lady named Valeria that is reading the book of mormon and wants to get baptized, but she needs to stop smoking. And it´s going to be pretty hard because her husband, her 18 year old daughter, and her 15 year old son all smoke. So we´re probably going to have to convince the whole family to stop smoking. Hopefully they can.

It´s somehow already the last week of the transfer. It went by really fast. So this saturday we´ll be getting the call. I would imagine that my comp is leaving and I´ll be staying, but I guess anything can happen, so we´ll see.

I can´t think of anything else to say so I guess that´ll do.

¡Chaucito!
